I believe you said there were no recent authentic cases of poisoning as a result of blending at the refineries. -It has come to my attention that we paid a death claim on September 22nd in which the cause of death was ascribed to tetraethyl lead. The deceased was a laborer employed at an oil company plant in Savannah. The place of death was given as The Charity Hospital in that city. I wonder if you know of this case, and if you do, would, you tell us whether in your opinion the diagnosis of tetraethyl lead poisoning was correct.
