Under separate cover we are sending to you the Specifio Safety Requirements Codes you requested. The Ohio Boiler Inspection Lavs & Rules - 195U and Ohio Rules for Cor> atruction of Unfired Pressure Vessels, Section VIII - 1955 have been replaced, and the 1965 Edition of the Boiler Lavs and the Unfired Pressure Vessels Codes of the ASMS, plus the ASHE Code Cases m effect 1965, are now being used. The Jurisdiction of these codes has been changed from the Industrial Connission to the Ohio Board of Building Standards. We suggest you write to the Executive Secretary, Richard A. larrington, 220 Parsons Avenue,Columbus, Ohio U3215, concerning these codes. Section IX, Standards for Welding is written also by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The 1958 Edition of the Boiler Blow-Off Systems is still in effect but you may expect the Rules of the Industrial Commission to be repealed and this portion will be included with the new Ohio Boiler General Rules, public hearing of which was held on last September 8th, and these will become effective as soon as they can be printed which may be within the next month.
