This project calls for nine relief valves to eliminate the possibility of thermal expansion on several liquid Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) lines. The project also calls for a plant standard of color coding valves that need to stay open to prevent a liquid packed line. Further investigations will be completed to ensure that all possible liquid packed situations have been identified. This project identifies several that need immediate attention.
