Thanks for the quick response! I'm working with Hal on the OMB request.
Regarding State, we've made a request for a joint call (Hoeven/Boozman/Moran) with Secretary Rubio to Philip Laidlaw, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at State's Leg Affairs. Hopefully, that's the right place to start. To the substance, yes, we're talking about the P.L. 480 ag shipments.
Also, Toni-Marie (cc'd), with Sen. Boozman, has been working with Pace on a DPC/NEC call, so I'm going to let her handle that request since, as usual, she's way ahead of me.

Good afternoon. Senator Hoeven would like to speak to soon-to-be OMB Dir. Vought regarding stranded Food for Peace shipments involving U.S. commodities. Is it best to go through his sherpa or is there another person who could connect Vought with my boss? Additionally, please know that Sens. Boozman and Moran may be interested in joining that call as well.
On the same topic, is there anyone you recommend the senators speak to at DPC or NEC about this issue? Our understanding is that though USDA is involved in putting the ag shipments together, USAID handles the shipping and the deliver in foreign countries -- we'd like to get a handle on what's happening to these shipments.
