BIRD INCORPORATED / Memo To: Jim Jackson - BBH From; Vern Roelofs - BBH Subject: OCTOBER 27 SAMPLE AREA CLEANUP AND STORAGE Date: October 29, 1984 On Saturday, October 27; Janet Finn, Paul Charbonneau and I cleaned out the sample storage area. Following our usual practice, unusual competitive samples and interesting Bird trial samples were kept. Everything else was discarded. Attached are lists of the samples kept, listed by pallet from the top down. Therefore, if you or anyone else needs a particular sample, it should be relatively easy to find. Also listed are samples that we are going to be sending to the Shreveport Test Decks. These will be wrapped up, but not sent until the current sets of competive samples from the eastern plants have been logged in, weighed, counted, and testing begun. There is also a short list of samples to be added to the small display boards. There is now plenty of room out back for the expected samples from the cost cutting trials. Work will begin on the competitve samples as soon as possible. I would like to have Chris Bickum sort through, discard the unneeded, and prepare needed 4 foot display boards of the samples stored on 3 pallets in the display area. Chris, please let me know if you need any help. Those boards should be prepared quickly so that we can use that area for other projects. I'm sure some of those samples can be discarded as duplicates, but I don't know which ones. When you - a-p-e finished, let me know and we will make a list of the large display boards for everyone to keep on file.
