I hope this email find you well.
I am contacting you on behalf of FPP4EU, Cefic's Sector Group dealing with FluoroProducts and PFAS, and representing producers, importers and users of substances that fall within the PFAS definition. FPP4EU has created a Collaboration Platform which includes a broad range of downstream users with an interest in PFAS; we currently have more than 160 members representing a wide variety of sectors.
We plan to organise the next online meeting of FPP4EU Collaboration Platform on 20 June; at the meeting, we will have the pleasure to have representatives from the five dossier submitters, who will present an update on the on latest developments of the U-PFAS Restriction proposal. We would be delighted if you could also attend as a speaker.
Most members of the Collaboration Platform have contributed to the ECHA public consultation, and it would be extremely useful for them to receive feedback on the current discussions in the Committees and information on how ECHA is going to organise the discussions of the upcoming sectors in the Committees. It would be also helpful to understand how to further contribute to the process. If this is also possible, we would also very much appreciate if you could provide your views on the challenges mentioned in the letter sent yesterday.
We propose a session of 20 minutes for you to cover those topics with a 20-minute Q&A session.
