Sharp - PER The 2nd Quarter Safety and Housekeeping Inspection for Department 513 was conducted by the inspection team of Jim McPhail, Mike Burkhalter, Bill Recknor and B. J. Sanders on April 16. The department was given a "very good" rating. The following items were noted: Safety ) 1. AVIP was 100% up-to-date. 2. Interlock bypass procedure was documented and followed. 3. HHMA - ammonia status is well understood in this department but a review of the overall plant status should be conducted at the next safety meeting. 4. Chlorine bottle station at ammonia cooling tower needs to be painted yellow for identification and highlighting. 5. Fire monitor on west side of ammonia compressor needs bleed valve replaced. 6. Step ladder No. 513-3 needs inspection tag. Housekeeping Housekeeping looked very good in all areas.
