(800) 969-VINYL (8469) or (216) 376-6500 VINYL INSTITUTE SEEKS COMPANIES FOR RECYCLERS DIRECTORY WAYNE, New Jersey, November 5, 1993 - A new directory of companies involved in the recycling, grinding and/or brokering of vinyl scrap is being compiled by the Vinyl Institute, the national trade association representing the leading manufacturers of vinyl (polyvinyl chloride or PVQ, vinyl feedstocks and additives, and film and sheet products. Companies must submit material for the directory by Friday, January 14, 1994. "This will be the third edition of our recyclers directory," said Robert H. Burnett, executive director of the Vinyl Institute. "But this time we're going to expand it by including companies that grind and bale, as well as process." The directory' will list companies that handle post-consumer and post-industrial vinyl scrap -- from toll processing to brokering. Information listed will include the company's name, address, telephone and fax numbers, contact person and a brief description of the company's capabilities.
