Yes, I do think Inviting Secretary Perdue would be appropriate, as well as relevant Congressional members. Secretary Perdue and Administrator Pruitt have become close since being in DC. What would be a good time to schedule a phone call? Kaitlyn on my team can help with scheduling. Many thanks! Wanda and I greatly enjoyed our visit to your office in DC with NAFO and are excited about the possibility of having Administrator Pruitt and his staff come and visit our Gully Branch Tree Farm, the 2009 National Tree Farm of the Year. How do you propose that we follow-up with each other, via phone or in person? Should you and staff like to do a preliminary onsite visit we are more than happy to accommodate. If Administrator Pruitt thinks it would be appropriate, we could also invite Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue as well since he is a close friend and neighbor and has been to the farm many times. I understand from Sonny that he and the Administrator have also become friends as well as prayer partners. As I am not sure of the protocol for Presidential cabinet members attending an event together, 1will leave it to you and your staffs to decide if this is something you would want to consider. Our farm is very secure and private so security should not be a big issue. Please just let us know how you think we should proceed and we will do our best to accommodate you. Ken gave me a brief download of your operations and expressed the Administrator's desire to come visit in the future. We look forward to making this happen.
