Bear Mr. Orths
Bus to a misunderstanding, no decision has been reached by the various authors of the Lead Symposium papers to bo published in our February issue* Proofs have passed
A,through our hands and will reach you shortly. It seems
likely that Br, Robert Xehoe (University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio) who is responsible for the Symposium will mat 500 copies of all the papers bound as a unit and that Dr. W. C, Dreessen (U, S, Public Health Service, Bethesdet, Maryland) will want 500 similarly. The determining factor, doubtless, will be the cost, that is, the comparative cost of the group of papers bound as on unit versus that of the papers reprinted singly in the usual fashion.
Please therefore write to Doctors JCehoe and Dreessen, with copy to us, indicating the cost each way, that is, in lots of 500 of the combined reprints and each of them singly. It is our hope that there will be sufficient demand for the making up of something around 1500 as a single unit with an appropriate cover. Ton did this for us on several other occasions and w believe it is decidedly to the interest of the Journal. It is our opinion that this Symposium will serve as an authoritative monograph for con siderable time.
Sincerely yours.
CCt Dr. B. A. Kohoe Dr. W. C. Dreessen
