CONDENSED EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS 1. The Shift Supervisor of the affected area is the acting Incident Commander of the emergency until properly relieved by a member of the Management staff. 2. In the event of an emergency, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for activating the emergency call-out procedure as swiftly as possible, making external notifications, and responding to and securing the emergency situation. The Shift Supervisor may delegate callout and notification activities to a Lead Operator or the Guard. In the absence of the Shift Supervisor, any employee may initiate the call-out procedure. 3. All in-plant personnel should be accounted for as quickly as possible. 4. All employees not directly involved in the handling of the emergency should be assembled in a safe area. 5. No one, other than emergency responders, will be allowed to enter or re-enter the affected area without proper clearance from the Incident Commander.
