Dear Bob:
Thank you for your letter of September 17* 1958 outlining the important work which your laboratory is performing on the long term toxic potentials of Ethyl Corporations AK-33X.
In our Research and Development Laboratory we will be handling this from time to time using the precautions suggested in the current procedure from the product service and safety section of the Ethyl Corporation.
In order that our refinery physician, Dr. Charles Rigby, may be conversant with the potentialities of any unexpected acute exposures to this substance, would you be so kind as to write him a letter at the address below indicating the effects on humans of an acute exposure and if possible, any therapeutic steps which should be taken.
Charles E. Rigby, M.D.
Medical Department Sun Oil Company Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania
Thank you for your help in this matter.
Cordially yours,
