These men must have been made extremely nervous by information, or misinforma tion which they have received. I would judge from this that; the men have no idea whatever of the magnitude of the hazards to which they are exposed in their work with Ethyl Gasoline,' and ,1 would consider it advisable that they be informed asito the experience of other people to such an extent" as to allay their fears. It seems reason able that army technique has been applied in ordering these men to this type of work without any attempt being made on the'parti of their superior officers to acquaint them with the conditions. In no other way can I account for such'a fright as to produce these rather extreme vasomotor indications of nervous reaction. I think it might be possible for Mr. Lienhard 'to straighten the matter out through conversation with the men, either directly or through their superiors.
