Dear Jenny,
Thank you for your reply.
Please find the individual contributions attached. They provide more details on volumes, emissions, potential alternatives and test results with potential alternatives, as well as implications in absence of C6 (especially AM's and H&V's contributions).
We hope that will find these contributions helpful.
Out of the three companies, only AM is also involved in ePTFEtechnology. Their contribution is most interesting in this regard as they provide explanations on how ePTFEfiltration media differfronn C6treated filtration media.
In the light of your work on the all PFAS restriction proposal, we thought it might be most useful for you to have a follow up call with AM.
Ms Claire Prost, from AM Filtration R&D department, would be available at the following times:
-Oct. 13th -- from 10:00 to 11:30
-Oct. 20th from 10:30 to 12:30
-Oct. 2rd from 11:00 to 12:30
We look forward to hearingfrom you, and wish you a nice weekend,
Best regards, Marie Gorkem

Filtration
Dear Ms Ivarsson, dear all,
Ahead of our meetingtonnorrow on filtration, please find attached all the contributions that were submitted bythe filtration and separation coalition and bythe individual members of the coalition to the ECHA public consultations on the PFHxA restriction proposal. Only C6 is used by all three members of the coalition, no other PFAS.
Contributions from individual members were submitted as confidential. The companies are Ahlstronn-Munksjo, Hollingsworth&Vose, and Lydall.
These contributions provide more detailed information, especially on volumes, assessment of alternatives, emissions. They should in principle respond to most of your questions.
Nonetheless, at ourcall tomorrow, since it will be with representatives from all three companies, only non confidential information can be discussed. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
We will send you our responses to your questions in writing after our call.
Participants at tomorrow's call will be: Ahstrom-Munksjo: Claire Prost (R&D Department) and Tamara Quatrano (VP Filtration) H&V: Michael Neukirch and Philipp Kroll (H&V Germany)
Lydall: Laurent Renoux (Plant manager, Lydall France) Kreab: Kirsten Devlieger and myself
We look forward to our discussion, Kind regards, Marie Gorkem

Dear Jenny,
Thank you for your email and the detailed list of questions.
The Filtration and Separation Coalition is currently working on its response to the second public consultation on the PFHxA restriction proposal, which we will share with you once it is finalised. Due to the tighttinneline, it will not be possible to have the call before the 9th of September. Moreover, we need to discuss with the coalition members the extentto which some of the information requested may be of confidential nature.
We will address these points with the coalition and come backto you as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Maria Morera

Dear Jenny,
Thank you for reaching out to us, and for your interest in having a meeting with the Filtration and Separation Coalition.
We have informed the three members about the publication of the restriction intention, as wel I as of the launch of the questionnaire.
Regardingthe meeting, we werewondering whetheryou could clarify the scope of the discussion. The F&S Coalition focuses on filtration and separation media treated with C6 side -chain fluorinated polymers. Should you want to also cover fluoropolymer uses (e.g., ePTFE membrane applications), a separate discussion with Ahlstrom-Munjsko would be required.
Please us know whatyour preference would be in this regard, and we will come back to you with proposed dates/times for the discussion.
We thank you again for reaching out to us and look forward to hearingfrom you.
Kind regards,
Maria Morera

Subject: PFAS restriction proposal -Second stakeholder consultation and Meeting request
Dear Maria, The authorises working on a broad PFAS-restriction proposal have now notified ECHAtheir intention to prepare a restriction dossier. Atthe same time we are also I aunching a second stakeholder consultation that will be open until 19 September. You may have already seen this but I am sending itto be on the safe side and would appreciate if you spread it to your members/network. In the questionnaire, stakeholders can also take part of the results from various studies that we have done and which will form the basis forthe proposal. In addition, stakeholders have the opportunity to comment if theythinkthat information is missing.
Here is the linkto the questionnaire: https://l in k.webropolsurveys.conn/Partici pation/Public/c4d58b80-5227-4f31-b65692bc0669e41e?displayld=Ger2322406 Attached you also find a PDF-version.
On the Swedish CA's web you only find background information in Swedish but BAuA has information in English: https://www.reach-clp-biozidhelpdesk.de/EN/Home/Gernnan propsal restriction/PFAS/PFAS node.htnnl
As you know the Swedish CA is responsible forthe use in TULAC (textiles, upholstery, leather, apparel and carpets). As part of working on that we have identified a need for more information on the use in filters. Do you think it would be possible to arrange a meeting with the Filtration and Separation Coalition to discuss this afterthe summervacation in late August/beginning of September?
Best regards Jenny
