PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PRIMEBLUE Forward water lubricated stern tube sealing gland. Composed of one Rubber NBR sealing ring with stainless steel garter spring. Fitted with a Rubber NBR inflatable ring for safety purpose in stop condition. Fitted with a water inlet pipe. PRIMEBLUEseals are available in sizes from 50 mm to 690 mm by step of 20 mm. 2. DOCUMENTS AND DRAWINGS: Size, material and arrangement as per drawing n A-04-2-0000-000-00 dated 22-2-2013 Materials of parts Casings: Seal rings: Bolts and pipe Bronze. NBR SS 316 3. TEST REPORTS: AEGIR Pressure test report - test performed on 06 Dec 2013. ERT test report n 12238-2 dated 16 Dec 2013. 4. APPLICATION / LIMITATION: 4.1 - Forward Stern Tube Sealing Gland for water lubricated stern tube. 4.2 - On board installation & Maintenance requirements : Due consideration is to be paid to the Manufacturer's recommendations concerning the installation, inspection, operation and maintenance of the seal. 5. PRODUCTION SURVEY REQUIREMENTS: 5.1 - The Sealing Glands are to be supplied by AEGIR-MARINE BV in compliance with the type and the requirements described in this certificate. 5.2 - This type of product is within the category IBV of Bureau Veritas Rule Note NR320. 5.3 - BV product certificate is required. 6. MARKING OF PRODUCT: - Serial number. - Size. - Bureau Veritas Marks. 7.
