Aurelia,
It was great talking to you Friday.
IPAA would like to formally invite you to speak at the IPAA Regulators' Forum to be held on Tuesday, October 17 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at our office located at 1201 15th St. NW.
This forum is an opportunity for representatives from IPAA member companies to hear directly from those within the agencies most responsible for regulation and oversight of the oil and natural gas exploration and production industry.
We are still developing the full agenda, which I will be happy to send along once it is a bit more finalized. As such, should you be able to participate, we have some flexibility at this point with respect to what time you would speak to the group.
The format is an open and conversational style. For example, if you're filling an hour slot, it would be reasonable to give a 30 minute presentation introducing yourself, explaining your position, the Secretary's priorities within your portfolio, and other relevant topics to wildlife management, and habitat mitigation/conservation. We would use the remaining time for questions and more detailed discussion on the various issues related to your area of expertise.
We have also invited some of your colleagues at Interior and EPA including, David Bernhardt, Timothy Williams, Patrick Traylor, and Mandy Gunesakara.
To sum up, here are the relevant details:
