The above price is based on utilizing the attached procedures for asbestos removal and disposal. Thorpe Insulation Company is familiar with the latest OSHA and EPA Regulations and Guidelines for asbestos removal. All OSHA and EPA Regulations and Guidelines are met or exceeded by Thorpe. In addition, several "state-of-the-art" measures not yet required by EPA or OSHA are utilized to insure maximum protection for our workers and for minimizing contamination of the outside environment. Thorpe Insulation Company has a full time safety director who monitors the work area and workers during the jobs progress. Environmental samplings shall be performed to ensure safety on the job. We use workers who have been trained for the removal of asbestos. We use the Environmental Health Laboratory for analysis of hazardous materials. If we are awarded this contract, we shall furnish a certificate of insurance. TICO shall furnish all other items requested after award of this contract.
