During the course of this study we have had occasion to analyze 2l hour accumulations of food to determine the total amount of lead entering the subject by this avenue. The results have prompted a further study of rollable samu7t.es of the various constituents which make up the five rage diet. Rather than make analyses of large numbers of random samples., we would, like bo obtain a fewsamples which would represent a cross section of a large amount of fruit. We have no intention bo Incriminate the citrus fruits as dangerous lead carriers, .e wish to determine to what extent, if any $ these fruits contribute to the lead intake.
