Works No. 12, Clarksburg - Routine audit of safety program, review of plant security and a brief plant inspection. Meetings Attended Task Force of the Glass Division Security Coamittee in the General Office. Public Affairs Forum at the Hilton Hotel. Multi-^lant Exchange Group of the Western Pennsylvania Safety Council at the Grant Building - Pittsburgh. Board of Directors Meeting of the Western Pennsylvania Safety Council at the Penn-Sheraton Hotel. Western Pennsylvania Safety Council membership meeting at the Penn-Sheraton Hotel. Met with Messrs. Fauber, Natrium) Russell, Zanesville; Gibson, Barberton; to plan the agenda for the Chemical Meeting to be held at Lake Charles in February. Attended Publications Conwdttee of the National Safety Council in Chicago. Attended Industrial Conference meeting of the National Safety Council in Chicago. Reviewed Glass Division disaster control plans and discussed them with Mr. R. Slebach (assisting M. M. Eakins.) Met with and addressed the West Virginia Management Association group at Clarksburg. Reports Corporation accident report for December. Preliminary accident reports to certain plants. Quarterly corporation accident reports to the 0. S, Department of Labor. Quarterly Fiber Glass accident report to the National Mineral Wool Association. Articles - Reproduced and Mailed Asbestosis and Carcinoma of the Lung. Preolacement Physical Examinations in Industry. Experimental Cutaneous Chrome Dicers. Observation of Workers in Sevln Insecticide Many telephone and mail requests were satisfied, in addition to pertinent items deemed essential for distribution. Letter, pictures and data relative to the Ditasler recordbreaking accident sent to all Paint ''larrt managers. Follow-up letter of the near-fatal accident at Works No. 21 sent to all plants. The Statistical Safety Control Program was revised and renamed - Safety Performance Measurement. Boatswain chair specification data researched and sent to Works No.12. Identification badge data obtained for A. D. Nutter. Consulted with R. Nock relative to a health claim at Newark and sent him a health survey made at Newark in 1935* Regular distribution of safety posters made to all units. The monthly vehicle safety letter and the bulk mailing of 5000 nieces of literature, distributed.
