Occidental Chemical Corporation: PVC Labeling Case Dear Bob: So that your files will be complete, I am enclosing the Administrative Law Judge's order withdrawing the citation and complaint filed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) stemming from OSHA's inspection of Occidental's Addis, Louisiana facility. The citation alleged that polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin should carry a cancer warning on the product label. Although the issue is not formally resolved, you correctly predicted that OSHA would not pursue this matt r if challenged. Understanding this, I am hopeful that others will follow Occidental's lead.
