Should this option not be available to us, then we must make sure that the plant can run good with the use of just one cell on the cooling tower. 5.0 Procedure: 5.1 Shut fan down in field. Make sure water is diverted to remaining cell if it is required. 5.2 Depress stop button on switch gear in motor control center. 5.3 Rack out the switchgear with the proper safety equipment. 5.4 Have the fuses pulled by a qualified person and lockout the switch gear.
