David is on my LandCAN board and one of my oldest confidential professional associates, going back forty years. He knows of the dark underbelly of the national park service involving blatant corruption at Point Reyes, serial sexual harassment at multiple national parks, the Mary Miller case based in Alaska and the profile of the entire Yosemite mafia - he knows better than anyone in DC.
I strongly encourage you to follow up and meet with David. I have mentioned these issues to Bernhardt on multiple occasions.
