CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS
SUBJECT -
The Acute Oral Toxicity (LDft0) of Aroolor 125k For Rats.
TEST CONDUCTED FOR -
Monsanto Chemical Company, St, Louis, Missouri, Monsanto Project ho,t SA-15
EXPUfOMSIiTAL PROCEDURE
"' '
The LDVo was determined by the introduotlcn-^fgeeasured single doses of undiluted Aroolor 125h into the a tomaoha jof Sprague Dawley strain albino rats by means of a rubber oatheter attached to a hypodermic syringe, Animale weighing 175 to 250 grams were used in the test.
After the approximate Minimum Lethal Dose was found, groups of animals were fed at lerels designed to blanket the toxicity range thereby supplying data for calculation of the LDBq which was done according to a modification of the method of Bliss (^uart, J, Pbarm* and Pharmacol,, 11, 1938). The data based on results obtained from a total of 1*1 rats are found in Table I,
Selected animals from those receiving a lethal dose were autopsied and maorosoopio examination made of the visoera.
