Llurphy Dear Dick, This will refer to your circular letter number NYD-275 inquiring about questions on the report of Dr. lilac hie on the subject of '`A Stddy of the Hazards of Cleaning Gasoline Storage Tanks". The only questions that occurred to me whil reading the report were the followings VRiat is the relative toxicity of inorganic lead to that of organic lead? I do not quite understand what decomposed lead is. Is it Lead oxide? How general is the use of litharge or other lead compounds similar to it in treating gasoline? YiTiat is the inorganic lead content of such gasolines when they leave the refinery storage? That is the average content, of course. I realize that the above questions are more general and do not cover specific data in the report, but the report seemed to cover any questions arising from my experience.
