Three ^-o-il -samples- submitted" by -theLMIC'-Alc"ron: Plant1 were - analyzed for possible PCB contamination. The samples were analyzed in accordance with MRC Method 08-GC-R1-. --The samples:were-screened-for :the PGB ArocTors 12"42, :1254, and 1260. - The sample chromatograms1 were compared to chromatograms- of standards made from1these-Aroclors run under-similar analytical conditions for identi fication and -quantitation.1 ^The1 method used1 has "a' lower" detection- limit tff1 1 yg/mL (ppm), a precision of 9%, and an accuracy of 12% based on the analysis of Aroclor 1242 standards. . The precision of the method is 20%
