Please proceed as follows: 1) Assign someone with primary responsibility to manage the asbestos removal program. 2) Continue to push for authorization of the CBP. 3) Set up an accrual account to collect Vs until CBP Is approved. You may want to get an advanced 930 on this work. 4) Make sure that we follow the latest regulations on removal work. 5) Clearly establish criteria for removal versus sealing of asbestos Insulation. Basically I believe we should: a) Totally remove from all Idle equipment. b) Totally remove from Inside buildings. c) Seal and label any asbestos Insulation In first class condition. d) Remove any asbestos Insulation not In first class condition.
