On nasal examination, I found a badly deflected septum, causing blockage of the ethmoid sinuses, with some mucoid secretion in both nasal passages, coming from both middle and superior meatae. Patient's pharynx also mildly congested, with ton sil tags also moderately infected at both bases. Tympanic membrane of both ears' seemed to be re tracted, and eustachian tubes only slightly patent, due to presence of mucus. The eye examination at the time appeared to be normal from the fundus standpoint.
