The following information was obtained verbally from facility personnel.
Company Ownership: The facility has had the same ownership since at least 2012, although Ascent used to be part of a larger facility that has since been taken over by Digital Realty. Digital Realty owns the remaining six suites at the 505 N Railroad location.
Process Description: The Ascent LLC (Ascent) facility stores and maintains data servers. This involves cooling the servers, so the facility has chillers that use R-41 0a coolant. The servers are air cooled, so once the refrigerant is cooled outside, it is exchanged with air that provides cooling to the servers. The facility was unaware of any coolant recharge that had been necessary since the facility began operation. Ascent has three diesel-powered 2-megawatt generators (GenSets) that can supply all required electrical needs for the servers in the event of power intem1ption. These Gen Sets are typically run for less than 10 hours per year.

Data Collected and Observations: Photos were taken during the facility tour. EPA toured the facility and observed all processes. The facility appeared to be in nonnal operations. The chillers were operating and none of GenSets were operating.
