Dear Mr. Hoy:
This will acknowledge your recent letter on the subject of ASBESTOS containing products and while we find some contractors, in particular, are still interested in ASBESTOS type joint cements, we have, in fact, been working and testing for sometime a number of ASBESTOS FREE formulations.
Most of our powder joint cement formulations have already been switched to NON ASBESTOS for production runs.
New packaging has been ordered and when available we will go into production in all of our facilities particularly on Pre-Mixed Joint Cement but also on the remaining ASBESTOS type products in our line.
We anticipate now that we would be fully changed over to ASBESTOS FREE products in production (with the possible exception of roof coating materials) on or about April 1.
