Dear Dr. Kehoe: Attached hereto are copies of letters I amtoday addressing to Ray Bevan and John Schaefer with regard to medical rules and regulations cards used in England and on the Continent. W. 1, England, Sear Hay; I have your letter of September 20th regarding medical rules and regulations accompanying eductor sets shipped to England and the Continent* I have discussed this matter fully with Rr. Kehoe and aa today issuing instructions to John Schaefer to elim inate the inclusion of such rules in eductor set shipments to countries under your supervision*. Dr* Kehoe is returning to Cin cinnati in the next day or so and he idll then tackle the job of revising these rules to exclude all reference to tank car shipments of fluid* When we get his approval we will have these revised rules printed and send a quantity to you for direct distribution to con signees of eductor sets. Of course, Dr* Kehoe will instruct you direct as to just howhe wants this medical phase handled* I trust that this is quite clear to you, and would appre ciate your acknowledgment at your convenience* Very truly yours, A. Schaefer, Dear John: With further reference to the medical rules and regulations that we have been including in eductor sets shipped to countries under Ray Sevan*s supervision, namely, England and the Continent, I have discussed this matter fully with Dr. Kehoe and he wishes us to discontinue sending any rules with such eductors. As a matter of fact, he is reviewing the whole situation and in due time will probably send us a revision of these rules and regulations for foreign use, which will probably eliminate all reference to tank car business. ' Even when this revision cornea through he will probably not want you to include same in eductor sets but rather place a supply in Ray Sevan*s hands so that he can distribute same direct with the necessary explanation and instructions in each case. This does not in any way affect our domestic situation, which should continue to be handled in accord with the present procedure, nor should it affect shipments of eductors to countries ether than England and the Continent, As a matter of fact there may be some revision of these latter, but nothing should be done until you hear further from me. Would you please mail Dr. Kehoe at Cincinnati three copies of the rules and regulations that you have been placing in eductor sets going to England and the Continent as we do not seem to have any here and he is not sure he has any at Cincinnati.
