SALE OF ASSETS. Agreements have been signed by both parties covering the sale of assets to Hancock and Wright. Completion seems possible within 3 to 4 weeks and Messrs Hancock and Wright have asked for our co operation in several matters. These are
1. B Bolitho will probably be engaged on a contract basis to look after the power station. If and when this is confirmed would you arrange for Mr Passfield to make sure that B Bolitho knows how to start each engine and that he is familiar with other aspects of the station. We are not clear at this stage what Mr Passfield will be called on to do but we will advise as soon as possible.
2. H Street will probably be kept on by Hancock and Wright to look after stores.
3. Would you please arrange for Mr D Moore to see that Mr Graham is made fully familiar with the method of Hotel
control. Stocktaking etc.
4. On the date of take over By Messrs Hancock and Wright they wish to take stock at the Retail store and Hotel. We have agreed that Mr Moore will assist in these operations to ensure a smooth transfer. The stocktake is not for the purpose of ensuring value but to give them a starting point for future control.
5. Mr D Moore is to assist in any other way which is
reasonable.

6. During the period between now and completion we would ask you to carry out any reasonable request by Messrs Hancock and Wright while at the same time safeguarding Australian Blue Asbestos Pty Ltd interests.
7. We are trying to arrange for Mr Hart to stay in W A in a suitable position, but in any case Mr hart can be assured that he will be placed somewhere in CSR Co organisation when he is free to leave Wittenoom.
