Evidently a Ford safety engineer was in attendance at the asbestos conference held at the Contractors Association Building. I was a speaker at the conference and they requested that I make available to them this list of contractors. If I said it once 1 said it a dozen times, that being on the list was not an endorsement by the Michigan Department of Public Health, it was just merely a list to help anybody that felt they might need some asbestos work done. Evidently the safety engineer missed that point. I would hate to get the word out that this is a list of contractors that is endorsed by the Michigan Department of Public Health.
