I would like to remind you that Abes will cease to supply such linings as of Pecember 31, 1987 as we advised in October, 1986. The part numbers affected are formulas for which we have developed suitable replacement non-asbestos materials. However, our records indicate that you have not yet certified one of these replacements. If you are not testing such a material and desire to do so, please contact our sales individual assigned to your account or advise the writer as soon as possible. It Is of utmost urgency, therefore, If you have not found another suitable replacement, that you take Immediate action to protect your future requirements. I strongly urge you to assess your needs for the Immediate future, beginning In January 1988 and perhaps for a period of one year, and order a one time bank of material to support this requirement. This action will hopefully provide your company with the time needed to certify a new non-asbestos replacement material. It is also Important that such a bank must be ordered by September 1, 1987. If a bank Is not ordered by that date, we cannot guarantee to you that we will be capable of supplying the quantities you may desire.
