\ Pebruary 2, 19^8 V Dr. F. B. Lan&han, The 'Electric Storage Battery Company, Allegheny Avenue and 19th Street, Philadelphia 32, Pennsylvania. . . Dear D r . Lariahan: I am sending you herewith the Analytical results on your patient, I enclose also a bill to cover the cost of the T 1 A 1 A rcr _ .This is one of those situations in which the diagnosis must be arrived at by a careful interpretation of the clinical information available. T h e .lead, concentrations in both blood and urine are Compatible with the existence of mild symptomatology and are clearly indicative of. a potentially hazardous degree of lead 'exposure within recent weeks or months. On the other hand, the lead concentration in the blood is in that middle range in which symptomatology is uncommon, while the urinary lead concentration is abnormally high in relation to the blood concentration, presumably as the result of the concentrated state of the urinary sample. The whole picture may be the result of extraneous causes. However, under the circumstances I should be disposed to regard , this, f o r ,purpose of treating this man, As a situation which justifies his removal from present lead exposure. . Cordially yours, PAK ef Enc. hohert A. Kehoe, M. D. \ <k 0004150 c. 1 M ai ne: Material Submitted; Required; Urine and Blood I-23-I4.8 by D r .
