E. Simmons Assistant Manager of Marketing Dear Mr. Simmons: I have finally received your letter of December 9, 1970 and your letter of January 28, 1971. I will attempt to answer your question as far as pounds we believe we unloaded from NATX-17152. The attached sheet will indicate our tank readings and our `withdrawals over the stated time period during which this car was unloaded. You will note that this balance of figures indicates a discrepancy (i.e. shortage) of 103,800 pounds. Again, as stated in the past to you, this balance was one to confirm our suspicions that the car was short weighted. This first came to our attention when we found the car pulling vapor approximately one hour after hook-up. Normally four to five hours is required to unload a car.
