No, for sure not. We wanted to meet with both and I thought we were clear we could meet in either place but we wanted both Region and HQ on the line. The timeline to go from sampling to RD/RA as laid out: in the letter cuts 2 to 3 years off the normal process which will require very dose coordination among the private parties, the Regions, and HQ. We need to "reinvent" the process to make this work and we wanted to start out with getting all the relevant parties from ERA "in the room." If that: should be in Seattle with HQ. on the video or in DC with Seattle on the video, we're fine either way. That's EPA's call. The fact that this is on the Administrator's priority list made us want to be sure HQ. was engaged up front. The date now out there is May 29th and we are hoping we can nail that down with you all in the next: few days.
As an aside, I was thinking I was waiting to hear back from you about scheduling a meeting with the leadership of the PRP group the next time you were down in Portland. I thought we left it that you were going to get me dates on that. If I was in error and I was supposed to get back to you I apologize. Just let me know.

Rich:
Morning! Am aware of the meeting referenced above. Just wondering if there is a reason for you going straight to DC for a meeting on steps forward before you have met with the Region or do you feel you have met with the Region? Are there issues that need to be discussed off line?
Have a great weekend.
