Dear Robin,
Thank you for your assistance in arranging for Asst. Admin. Dravis to be a speaker at the upcoming EPRI seminar on
Wed., Nov 8 at EPRI's offices located at 1325 G. S t NW. Suite 1080 in Washington, D.C. (phone: [ Ex. 6 i, i've
attached a revised agenda that reflects your suggestion regarding the timing of Ms. Dravis' remarks, i've noted it as 12:15 12:45p, with the understanding she wiil plan to speak for 10-15 min and take 15-20 min of Q&A,
in addition to the potential speaking topics David mentioned in this emaii below., i'd like to suggest that it would aiso be very appropriate for this audience for Ms. Dravis to highlight and discuss EPA's regulatory reform agenda and efforts to repeal of the Clean Power Plan.
At this point, can we go ahead and "confirm" that Ms. Dravis wiil be able to join us? We certainly hope so. Please let me know.
Thank you once again,
Adam

Dear Robin,
Thank you for your quick follow up. We would be honored to welcome Samantha as the luncheon keynote speaker at EPRI's 36thAnnual Seminar on Fuels, Power Markets and Resource Planning, taking place in EPRI's office (1325 G Street, NW; Suite 1080) on Wed, Nov 8. The ideal timing would be if Samantha could arrive at EPRI's DC office by 12 noon on Wed., Nov 8 and be prepared to speak from 12:15p-12:45p, followed by 15 minute Q&A. The seminar is not open to the press.
Possible Topics
Potential impact on future electric sector reliability from the ongoing dramatic changes occurring in the electricity markets (i.e., coal and nuclear plant closures; rapid build out of new renewable generation; ongoing very low natural gas prices);
Ongoing efforts to better coordinate the operations of the wholesale electricity markets with the operation of the natural gas fuel markets and pipelines.
Audience
This invitation-only event includes approximately 50 participants to allow for significant interaction between the participants and speakers. The audience will predominately include representatives of EPRI member electric companies, including investor-owned utilities (lOUs), electric generation and transmissions cooperatives, independent power producers (IPPs), public power agencies, and regional transmission organizations (RTOs) and Independent System Operators (ISOs). These participants typically are engaged in acquiring fuels for power plants, power plant operations, system resource planning, corporate strategy, and wholesale market design and operations. It is an invitation-only event hosted under the "Chatham House rule." Again, the Seminar is not open to the press.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Regards,
David

Hi Robin,
I just wanted to follow up on my previous email and see if you can provide any update on Associate Administrator Dravis' availability for Nov. 8th. I have copied my colleague David Hunter, who is organizing the Fuels Seminar and would be happy to provide you with any additional information you may need.
Additionally, if Ms. Dravis is unable to join us on the 8th, we'd be happy to extend the invitation to other potential speakers from the Office of Policy if you have any suggestions.

Good Afternoon Robin,
My name is Wil Smith and I work for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) as part of our Government and External Relations team here in Washington, DC. Yesterday (10/25) I had the pleasure of hearing Associate Administrator Samantha Dravis speak at Edison Electric Institute's External Affairs Conference.
My colleagues and I thought Ms. Dravis' comments were incredibly insightful and interesting and we would like to invite her to give a similar speech and discussion at the EPRI Fuel Seminar in Washington, DC on November 8th. We hope to send Associate Administrator Dravis a formal invitation in the coming days so any information on how best to send that out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance and please let me know if there's any additional information I can provide; I look forward to hearing back from you.
