I enclose a copy of the letter from the Clerk of the Court, along with the Order. It remains now to proceed with some effort at reaching a settlement agreement, or pay the accrued compensation, and then begin periodic payments to the widow. The second page of my letter to you of January 20, 1989 sets forth the weekly rate, the annual amount, the accrued benefits on the 8th anniversary of the accident, and the widow's life expectancy. I also commented there on the maximum payable under the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act. I shall assume to talk with Mr. Larsen and see what his ideas are towards settling the case.
