The EPA's information request letter was transmitted by electronic mail to Westlake on December 5, 2024, and a response is due to the EPA by January 6, 2025. The EPA understands that the responses to questions 1, 8a and 8b, 9e, 10e, 11f, and 14 will be provided by January 6, 2025, and Westlake has requested more time to provide responses to the remaining questions. At this time, the EPA is granting a 30-day extension for Westlake's response to the request for information specified in the remaining questions; those responses are now due by February 5, 2025. In addition, the EPA will schedule a call with Westlake for the week of January 6, 2025, to further discuss the information request and Westlake's progress in developing responses. The EPA will consider whether any further deadline extension may be necessary at that time.
