The presentation was not looking specifically into energy-relevant uses and/or conclusions regarding the availability of alternatives. The slides have not been subsequently shared. DG GROW indicated that the risks caused by F-gases will be assessed by ECHA's Risk Assessment Committee as part of the PFAS restriction dossier submitted by 5 European countries. The Socio-Economic Analysis Committee will assess the availability of alternatives and the economic impacts of a potential restriction. DG ENER indicated that the Commission take note of the information provided. The Commission will need to take everything into account from a society perspective, including the concern related to the PFAS pollution.
