States Government. A list of the hazardous substances from the August 29, 1979, Federal Register is attached. The substances listed have their RQ per 24-hour period. The substances that have the greatest potential for spillage in this plant have been underlined. The steps to take in case of a hazardous spill reaching navigable waters are also attached. Th notification of the Environmental Control Department and the U. S. Coast Guard will b handled similar to our Oil Spill Notification procedure. ' The Shift Superintendents should probably be responsible for coordinating the notifications of Environmental, Operations, and outside contractors (if needed) for spill clean-up operations.
