Please find enclosed a list of the plants, ownership history, dates of work involving vinyl chloride and the type of product manufactured at the plant according to documents we have received from the previous contractor. Before we proceed with updating the employment and vital status of study cohort members, it would be most useful to us to know which companies currently own which plants, or if any of the plants have been sold, bought or closed since 1982. We are also interested in determining which plants currently manufacture VCM. PVC and/or copolymers and resins. If your company has plants which no longer produce vinyl, please let us know when work involving vinyl chloride ended at the plant. Finally, please verify the type of vinyl product (VCM, PVC, or copolymers and resins) manufactured over the history of the plant.
