EPA is the principalfederal regulatorfor our industry and the industry wishes to work with the EPA on permitting reforms at EPA including new usesfor AI to protect and promote US innovation. The chemical manufacturing sector is working on a series of regulatory actionsfrom the previous administration some of which present impediments to new domestic manufacturing. The purpose of the meeting is to ensure the administrator is aware of key prioritiesfor the chemical manufacturing industry which coincide with the aims of each the EPA's 5 pillar initiative and provide specific and concrete ways to work to achieve each of the 5 pillars.
