Analysing this information ate the attending results* it was decided that the solutions (Lead ate throne) could net be sampled and/or analysed accurately enough to warrant operating W calculated flews only* It is therefore established that* for K3352* solution analyses tested be used to eheek the aeeuraoy of eelntien makerap ate provide a calculated flew rate for the Lead solution* the chrome solution flew rate* however* should be regulated by the resulting strike pH* With good sampling sad aeeurate analyses the rotameter adjustment tested rat normally erased |9^ In the early plant development work* the eteer would frequently thicken up in the first and seeead heat development vats* so badly at times that it eaused ths vats to overflew* The cause of this was found to be a lead erases after striking* instead ef a very slight chrome erases* 'Shis was attended in every ease by a lew strike pH* It le therfere reeeamended that the heat not be intro* dueed to the development vats until the strike pH has bsen cheeked and stabilised*.
