Section I - INTRODUCTION
Perdure Petroleum, LLC / NBU 56-12 Inspection Date: 01/29/2019
PURPOSE OF THE INSPECTION EPA Region 6 inspector K.W. Sanborn visited the Perdure Petroleum, LLC oil and gas facility located at the latitude 36.793938 and longitude -96.737802 near Shidler, Oklahoma on 01/29/2019 for an unannounced inspection. No representative of Perdure Petroleum, LLC was present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
FACILITY DESCRIPTION The inspection consisted of a facility in the North Burbank Unit (NBU), NBU 56-12 site, where previous discharges of produced water had occurred.
Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed that the upland area from the nearby creek was graded and mulched. Additionally, the area was covered with hay. I did not observe grass growth on this area yet. Also, the creek was frozen during the inspection.
Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN None at the time of the inspection.
Section IV - FOLLOW UP Conduct a follow up inspection in approximately 6 months.
