5 activity in a couple of seconds, if you had sanded for
6 a couple of seconds, would that have affected your
7 numbers?
8 A Possibly. It would have been difficult to
9 collect the sample for that short a period of time,
10 but it possibly would have had some difference in the
11 result.
12 Q You indicated, I think, that you used a
13 coarse sandpaper to sand the brake shoes; is that
14 right?
15 A That is correct.
16 Q Okay. And you sanded four of them.
17 Was that in order to determine what kind of
18 fiber release you would have gotten if you replaced
19 all of the brake shoes on a car?
20 A Well, if you were to replace four of the
21 brake shoes, that is correct.
