Either Forrest or Milan, copied here, will need to meet you in the lobby of the Governor's office to escort you to the conference room, so please give us a shout when you arrive. For topics, the following information is on background and embargoed until after the interview tomorrow. We will also make sure you receive the press release. Please let me know if there are any additional topics you would like to cover time permitting. On background and embargoed: EPA Administrator Pruitt and Governor Doug Ducey will announce that EPA is approving Arizona's Regional Haze State Implementation Plan for the Salt River Project Coronado Generating Station. Administrator Pruitt is ending EPA's one-size-fits-all approach to addressing state environmental problems, and instead is empowering states to make their own plans that address their individual environmental needs. That's exactly what the approval of this plan accomplishes. Governor Ducey and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality have delivered a thorough plan that aims to improve visibility and reduce emissions that cause regional haze. By approving the state's plan and removing the Federal Implementation Plan, EPA is helping Arizona avoid increased energy and manufacturing costs that are passed down to consumers. This announcement coincides with President Trump signing a proclamation tomorrow declaring Oct. 6th "National Manufacturing Day." This will honor the men and women who create the products that power our communities, improve our lives, and defend our nation.
