You indicated that I had asked for authorization to settle this claim for Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00). While I did not actually ask for authorization to settle the case for this amount, I did indicate that this was the claimant's attorney's initial demand. I do not think it is an unreasonable demand since will probably be totally disabled for the rest of his life. I did recommend exploration of a structured settlement since I think it would be the most economically feasible arrangement for Sherwin-Williams. Moreover, Dr. McNabb doubts that he is a candidate for any type of retraining or vocational rehabilitation. still suffers from right-sided weakness and difficulty walking.
