These are related to registration of polymers, mixture assessment factor (MAF), the extension of the scope of GRA in particular to professional users and articles where safe use can be demonstrated (e.g., micro-processors) and the implementation of the essential uses concept. They would like to ensure that the REACH revision will remain science and risk based, ensure proportionality, increase level of predictability and that it will not deplete chemistry, one of the main building block for innovative technologies. - The Commission replied to all their questions, clarified and provided details on the implementation foreseen for polymer registration, MAF, GRA and essential uses. - It was our impression that the open dialogue was very useful to alleviate most of their concerns/fears, even if time was short to reply in detail to their many questions. Patrick Child then thanked the participants and concluded the meeting.
