In answer to your request for information about our experience handling asbestos at this Works,
A. We have no full-time insulators on the plant.
B. Two employees do part-time insulating about two weeks per year.
C. Fiberglass is the prevalent insulating material used. For elbow fitting and other infrequent needs asbestos "shorts" may be employed.
D. No spraying of insulating materials is done oh the plant.
E. We are aware of no cases of asbestosis, mesothelioma, or carcinoma among our parttime insulators.
F. Safety measures have not applied specifically to insulating procedures and special safety equipment has not been employed.
